We were going to go see it one night, but something came up and we didn’t ever get back out to the theater. Once it comes on DVD, it’ll be one of the first films from last year I’ll make sure I rent for sure. I haven’t seen “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” either, so can’t comment much there, but I will say that Best Makeup for “The Iron Lady” over “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II” is preposterous!

I really enjoyed that film, though I’m not sure I’ll be showing it to my future children until they’re older!

I’m glad that The Descendants picked up an award – it really touched me when I saw it a few weeks ago.

I’m disappointed that Hugo took the Best Visual Effects award. Rise of the Planet of the Apes was much more deserving, in my opinion.
